Terms of Service

Kings3D is a South African business based in Centurion, Gauteng. We sell 3D printing filament, 3D printers, spares and accessories, and we print parts to order.

These terms apply to every order placed on kings3d.co.za. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you buy.

You need an account to add items to your cart and check out. Please use accurate details, including a phone number and address where the courier can reach you.

You are responsible for keeping your password private. If you think someone else has access to your account, reset your password and let us know. We may suspend accounts that are used for fraud or abuse of the site.

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Delivery fees are not included in product prices and are shown at checkout before you pay.

We work hard to keep prices and stock levels correct, but mistakes happen. If an item is out of stock or listed at the wrong price, we will contact you before sending anything. You can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payments are handled by PayFast. We never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed once PayFast tells us the payment was successful, and you will receive an email confirmation.

If a payment fails or is cancelled, the order stays unpaid and nothing is sent. You can retry payment from the My Orders page in your account.

Only one discount code can be used per order. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may have an expiry date or usage limit. Some codes only work for certain account types.

Student pricing is only available to accounts that have been verified with a valid student card. We may cancel an order, or remove student access, if a student account is used by someone who is not a student.

We deliver nationwide using a courier. The delivery fee is quoted at checkout based on your address. Delivery times given by the courier are estimates, and we cannot control delays once a parcel has been collected from us.

You can also choose free pickup from us in Centurion. We will let you know when your order is ready to collect.

Please check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged or missing, contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos.

When you submit a print request we review your files and send you a quote. You do not pay anything until you accept it.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any files you send us. We may decline requests for items that are illegal, unsafe or that infringe someone else's rights.

3D printed parts have visible layer lines and small variations between prints. We print to the settings agreed in your quote, but we cannot guarantee a part will be suitable for a specific load, heat or safety requirement unless we have agreed to that in writing.

Returns and refunds are covered in our Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Product photos and colours are as close as we can get them, but colours can look different on different screens and between filament batches.

Print temperatures and settings in our listings and Filament Guide are starting points. Results depend on your printer, its condition, your slicer settings and your environment, so we cannot promise a particular print result.

As far as the law allows, Kings3D is not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses such as failed prints, lost time or lost income. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. If these terms conflict with those rights, the law wins.

We only use your personal information to run your account, process and deliver your orders, and reply to your messages. We share it only with the services needed to do that, such as PayFast for payment and the courier for delivery. We handle it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to orders placed after the date shown at the top.
